Project Busy Board

     We have been looking for ways to entertain our busy little boy without using television or battery operated toys and came across this idea on Pinterest. It’s called a “busy board”and it was so easy and affordable that we wanted to share. Found a few on Etsy but didn’t want to spend $50 dollars on one so we set off for Lowe’s to tackle the project ourselves. We spent around $20 and it was so so so easy. We picked out a handful of items from the hardware section and also grabbed one of those click on battery powered lights. Simply screwed the assorted items onto a piece of leftover shelving we had lying around and used stick on velcro trips to attach the light. Going to keep this one in the closet and pull it out every once in a while to keep him occupied while I cook dinner, do taxes, etc! We are still on the hunt for different things to occupy our little one and keep him “unplugged” so if you have any ideas please share!
