So I’ve decided it’s high time I pay my poor little blog a long overdue visit. It’s been one long awkward silence over here. I’ve had some issues with social media lately that have made it hard to want to come back here. Life has thrown us some big challenges lately and the gravity of trying to raise and protect a tiny human that I love more than anything in the world has sunk in even more…… as if that were even possible. It has made my little blog, as well as other social media that I usually enjoy (yes I’m talking to you Instagram) feel very insignificant, superficial and silly. So these past few months I’ve devoted myself fully to focusing all of the most important things….no silly business allowed! I’ve learned a lot about myself, about my family and about life in general. I’ve learned that life can be hard and confusing and finding your way, at times, can be more challenging than you ever imagined. I’ve also learned that is exactly why we all need the occasional silly, the superficial and the insignificant. At least I do anyway. Soooooooo here I am in a tutu for no good reason smiling because the grass is so green and the sun is shining! How’s that for superficial and silly? Hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend and is ready to take on whatever this week may bring!

You looked stunning yesterday! And that skirt is quite possibly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

Awww thanks so much you are so sweet! I totally ripped a huge hole in it the second I got home….soooo I’m in mourning today šŸ™ This is why I can’t have nice things….you’d think my hubby or my two year old would be the ones I’d have to worry about! hahaa

Ooohhh no! I’d be in mourning too! I was once in mourning over my favorite sweats getting a hole in them! Lol! Maybe you can exchange it? Some places are good about letting you get another if something happens to it.

I was very excited when I stumbled onto your Instagram. Your photos and little one are just so precious. I love the aspect of blogging and being able to connect with other mommy bloggers out there. I am so sorry if someone over stepped their boundaries and made social media a bad place for you. Loving your honestly and taste in tutus. (; Sometimes the world can be a cruel place, and sometimes it’s best for us to shut our phones and computers off. Hope you find your way! With love from a fellow mom.
