Homeward Bound

So tomorrow we head back home after spending 10 whole days in the Florida sun. Headed home to the land of sweatpants, heavy coats and wool socks….lots and lots of socks. What I’m going to miss….. the sun on my face, bare feet, sandy toes, throwing on one or two items of clothing and calling it a day and most of all I’m going to miss seeing my little boy wake up and asking, “beee beee?” (translation: beach) and watching him running up and down the shoreline chasing the birds and stopping to collect shells, ordering me to sit beside him as he does. That being said we miss our daddy way more than we will ever miss any of those things and we are in an awful big hurry to get home to him and to puppy of course. This is the longest period of time the two of us have been away from each other for years and definitely the longest that he and Dex have ever been apart. It is going to be a crazy cuddlefest for daddy tomorrow so I hope you are ready Tyty!
